Ministry without the welfare of the people as a priority might as well be a show. Jesus went about doing good to the people he came in contact with, so it is not out of place for the Cletus Bassey Ministry to aim at reaching out to society in a bid to meet the needs of the people and leave a legacy behind.
His Family
Archbishop Dr. Cletus Bassey is married to Bishop Dr. Blessing Bassey, Her impact has transcended Destiny International Mission Inc Worldwide; a Preacher, Teacher of the undiluted word of God, and a model of a true virtuous woman. She serves as an inspiration to the Church and particularly the younger generation.
Dr. Mrs. Blessing Cletus Bassey has had an extensive impact in the Ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ within Nigeria, the United States of America, and the Nations of the World, inspiring and teaching the Christian faith in preparing the Church for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Dr. Mrs. Blessing Cletus Bassey holds a number of Degrees and certificates which includes a Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE), Bachelor of Arts Degree(ED) in French, M.Ed in Christian Education, and Ph.D. in Christian Education (Curriculum Development).
Bishop Dr. Blessing Cletus Bassey, a Co-founder of the Destiny International Missions, with branches within and outside Nigeria, also holds several positions of Ministerial responsibility and seats on Boards.
She is the Chief Princess of Releasing the Princess Within, a Global platform for women from all walks of life to express themselves by serving God. Dr. Mrs. Blessing Cletus Bassey is the founder of Great Minds Christian School. Uyo Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. Dr. has been married to His Grace-Dr. Cletus Effiong Bassey for over 30 years and is blessed with two biological Sons; Pastor Daniel Joshua and King Josiah.
Pastor Daniel Joshua Bassey who is currently doing his Master’s degree in Canada is a change agent, who believes strongly in self-development, self-actualization, and raising the new generation of leaders, who will shape the next dispensation of influencers.
He got his bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Texas Southern university in psychology. He is also a Pastor at Destiny International Mission and oversees the youth ministry.
Pastor DJ as he is fondly called is a faculty member at leadImpact University. He has traveled to different countries of the world to help others utilize the deepest corners of their brain to accomplish more and help professionals push beyond what’s ‘expected’ to create monumental shifts
King Josiah Bassey, is a Nigerian multi-talented music producer, artiste-songwriter, and 2022 Grammy Nominee for his collaboration with H.E.R Music. In a new collaborative effort, he co-wrote and co-produced Canadian singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor, Henry Lau’s latest music release “Real Love Still Exists”.
The people-oriented mindset gave birth to the setting up of the nonprofit foundation – Willing And Caring Hands Foundation. This foundation is a community-based organization, engaged in meeting the human, health, social, environmental, or public safety need community. The foundation has provided free medical services including surgeries, and educational materials to the less privileged in society. This is just to mention a few of the outreaches organized to meet the challenges of the needy and underprivileged.
The LeadImpact University
In a bid to solve the gnawing problem of the absence of a strong Christian-based higher education institution in the environment, the Lead-Impact University a Christian University was established by Dr. Cletus Bassey with the aim of impacting the global communities with the leadership attributes of Christ and raising the next generation leaders. Located in Denver, Colorado in the United States, the college is operated on a campus in Uyo under the Vision Christian College and Seminary. The Lead-Impact University also operates a campus in Uganda, in East Africa. Modalities are also in place to establish campuses in Tanzania and Kenya as well; these are targeted to kick off in November 2019. The University also offers a flexible Leadership Master Class course and training sessions with a 3-credit hour value redeemable at any Lead-Impact University campus across the globe. The just concluded Leadership Master Class held in Uyo was of massive impact on a wide cross-section of people, including entrepreneurs, pastors, government officials and leaders to mention a few.
Petalice Medical Center
Passionate about affordable and prompt healthcare care delivery, Archbishop Cletus Bassey founded Petalice Medical Center. They deliver Health care with a personal touch, through caring professionals. Over the years they have partnered with a number of bodies to provide free medical services which include free eye checks and medicated lenses, free surgeries, medications and lots more.
Destiny Global Mission Assembly
Establishing and running a local church was not part of Dr. Cletus Bassey’s plan for ministry, but along the line, God gave him a vision for a church that would serve as a bridge between the old and the younger breed of believers. On the 6th of July 1996, Destiny International Missions also known as Destiny Chapel was inaugurated. However, in 2004, the pseudonym name was changed to “Destiny Tabernacle” and in 2022 the name was once again changed to Destiny Global Mission Assembly. The church is a prophetic church with an apostolic mandate with a four-pronged mission:-
1. Bringing men to Christ,
2. Birthing God’s purpose through prophetic prayer
3. Building a community of true worshippers and
4. Preparing the saints for the Master’s work. Today Destiny Global Mission Assembly has branches globally.

Legacy footprint
His impact has transcended the church and the various offices he has served, the man Cletus Bassey has let the light of Christ shine through him and nations have run to the brightness of his rising. He has served and is still serving, as an inspiration to the Church and particularly the younger generation. He has held professional appointments in many areas CLICK TO VIEW.
He has raised many sons and daughters across the world, and he has ordained over 2000 pastors across the African continent.
